This might be the most British way ever to beat the summer heat

In case you hadn't noticed, it's hot out today. Like, really fucking hot.

Tuesday had already taken the title of the hottest day of the year, and Britons are losing their shit as some parts of the country are enjoying/enduring temperatures in excess of 30 degrees Celsius. It's like Spain or something. And though we complain about the rain all year, truth be told there's something comforting in it. We're not saying we want it to rain every single day, but when it's 30 bloody degrees out, water falling from the sky sounds like a pretty good deal to most of us. Luckily for pasty Brits up and down the land, you don't have to wait for the water to fall from the sky, since you can handily gather it all together in one place just by sticking on a tap. You can fill up a nice glass and you'll have yourself a drink of water to keep hydrated. That not enough? Then just pop outside, dust off last summer's paddling pool and fill it up with some nice, cool, definitely-not-30-degree water. Don't have a paddling pool?
