While most of us were celebrating the New Year's countdown, two special deliveries were being welcomed into the world. Jaelyn and Luis Valencia were born either side of midnight, meaning they now have separate birthdays.
Jaelyn was born at 11:59pm on New Year's Eve, and Luis followed soon after at 12:01am on New Year's Day, meaning they not only have different birthdays, but they were born in different years.
Although it was a mere 2 minutes apart, they have completely different dates of birth. Jaelyn's date of birth is 31/12/2015 and Luis's is 01/01/2016.
The babies weren't due until late January, the hospital confirmed that the babies and their mother, Maribel, are healthy. Jaelyn weighed four pounds and 15 ounces and Luis weighed five pounds and nine ounces.
