A school teacher has been fired after sharing a number of videos to TikTok about farting on his students and telling his pupils false facts.
Stephen Taylor, who was working at the Olathe's Mill Creek Campus alternative school, was let go last month after videos of him joking about teaching went viral and received millions of views.
Taylor claims that the district initially asked him to remove four of his "fart" videos as they violated the board's social media policy.
This policy demands "the same level of personal responsibility, discretion and professionalism expected in any other form of communication".
In one video, the former teacher refers to "crop dusting" in his classroom and claims he tells his students made-up "facts" when they annoy him.
He said in one of his videos: "Teachers, if a student annoys you, just remember that you can lie. There's nothing that says you have to tell them the truth all the time. I teach history.
"I tell my students the wrong stuff all the time when they annoy me. I tell them Abraham Lincoln invented the car. That's why it's named after him.
"I tell them Jake Paul and Logan Paul had a great-grandfather named Paul Revere because they don't even know how names work.
"I crop dust them all the time. I save up big milky lactose intolerant farts. And I drop bombs silently because I’m an adult and I know my body. And then I just let it stew.
"Then I walk away and I go, 'oh my god', it stinks over there and then they have to sit with it."
Ironically, Taylor also joked that the school he works at can't fire him as "they need me too badly".
Well Stephen, looks like they don't chief.
