That's according to a new study by Zoosk, which found that a whopping 72% of online daters are instantly turned off by bad spelling and grammar.
More than 9,000 people were surveyed by the online dating site and almost three quarters agreed that they wouldn't go on a date with someone who sent them a poorly written message.
Sounds harsh, but we know plenty who would agree.
