The Duke of Cambridge has had a haircut.

It doesn't matter if you eat in the members clubs of Mayfair or enjoy an occasional Thursday curry club at your local Spoons, not even a royal is safe from class' great leveller - hair loss. And that maxim applies even to Prince William, God love him. Since before the Royal Wedding, which is actually quite a long time ago now, I haven't been able to watch the Duke on TV without immediately asking this question, like a knee-jerk reflex: "Why hasn't he shaved it off?" Details are thin, but it looks like his Royal Highness has opted for a number two all over. More power to him, if he doesn't have enough already.
