PICS: This is what the ideal man’s body looks like around the world

We don't know about you, but here at JOE HQ, we spend an awful lot of time naked posing in the mirror feeling self-conscious, wondering what the ideal male body type is.

Well, the good folks at Superdrug have done their best to answer that question and have mocked up photos of the ideal man's body based on different perceptions of beauty by country. 19 countries are included in the list, and before you look at it let us simply say - thank God we're not all living in Egypt or South Africa. Superdrug's aim in publishing the findings is to draw attention to issues like male body dysmorphic disorder and the lack of market for plus-sized males models. It is interesting to note that there is a huge variation in some of the ideals, with the US ideal being ripped and toned unlike the more dad-bod-ish Australia model. While we're just wondering what it is that Macedonians have against placing your hands on your hips.
