Step forward, US inventor Dave Reynolds, who deserves a medal for introducing the world to the glow-in-the-dark toilet seat.
"I went to the bathroom one night and literally fell off the toilet in the dark," says Reynolds, revealing the brilliant inspiration behind his creation in this video.
