Landlord gives his tenants the sweetest christmas present ever

Landlords can get a lot of stick, but gestures like these are few and far between, especially in the current climate.

While many people are complaining of rent hikes as landlords scramble to increase income before the rent freeze comes into effect, one man is definitely in the Christmas spirit.

The handwritten letter which was posted through the letterbox reads: "I know you guys have been having trouble being between jobs these past few months and I just wanted to thank you for always being current on the rent. "So my gift for you and yours is that I’m waiving your December rent so you can give your family a good decent Christmas this year. "We’ll just pick it back up in January. "Merry Christmas, Jack."
