Roping in celebrities to make a contribution to a wedding isn’t exactly a new thing, but one Irishman has raised the bar sky high in that regard. Darren Byrne was asked to be best man at his good mate Darren Farrell’s wedding to Anna Carey in Portugal last month. Ten months before the wedding, he began contacting a host of different celebrities on Twitter in an effort to get them to make a video contribution, but surely even he couldn’t believe the amount of famous folk that agreed to help out. You can see the list in full below, but amongst the celebrities to contribute from home and abroad were Gary Neville, Gary Lineker, Piers Morgan, Rob Kearney and Gordon D’Arcy, whilst Karl Pilkington stole the show with his cameo around the 9:35 mark.
