Adding this one word can transform your CV

We all know a CV is your first introduction to a potential employer, but do your skills really explain themselves?
Writing for FastCompany, recruitment expert Erica Seidel advises job-hunters to include the magic five-letter words that brings a whole new understanding to your skillset… "which". Explaining her choice of words, Erica notes that while people might be able to list qualities, qualifications or experiences on their CV, they often stand without context – diminishing their value or your work experience to an employer.
So if you list a skill such as 'photoshop' on your CV, Seidel encourages you explain the context of this skill, e.g 'Photoshop, which has enabled me to produce images for publishing, print and online projects'.
While it might sound like a little more work, Seidel adds:
'The explanations that follow from "which" put all your accomplishments and responsibilities into context. They show off your unique approach to your work and, perhaps most important of all, the results they bring.'
