TikTok influencer begs followers for money after she ‘accidentally’ bought a $100,000 couch

Quenlin has said she is joining OnlyFans to cover the cost of the couch

A TikTok influencer has released a series of emotional posts detailing how she “accidentally” brought a couch for $100,000 (£89K) which she was bidding on as a joke.

Quenlin Blackwell, who has almost 8m followers, posted a video of her sobbing in her car to her TikTok account earlier this month.

The 21-year-old explains how she entered her card details into an online bid for a couch, but was not serious about purchasing it.

Turns out the joke was on Blackwell, who was later charged for the rather expensive place to sit, sending her into a panic.

“I have to pull over right now because I’m about to f**king throw up,” she said in the clip that’s clocked up about 7m views.

“I just put an offer on a couch, and I was joking. I was joking, but I put in my card information, and it just charged my f**king account. I almost crashed my car when I saw it.”

Blackwell then called on her followers to donate money to help her pay for the sofa.

“If you have a million dollars, can you please donate? Can you please donate, please? If you have a million dollars, can you let me borrow some, please,” she sobbed.

The video is captioned, “I can’t inhale.”

Not surprisingly, commenters were a little confused why Blackwell entered her card details, if she never intended to buy the piece of furniture.

One asked: “How you joke with yo card info?” Another said: “Girl, who puts in card info as a JOKE.”

Others were more curious to see a couch worth a hundred grand.

In a follow up video, Blackwell continued her sobbing plea and revealed she was reluctantly joining OnlyFans in an attempt to make money to cover the bill,

“I don’t want to, but I’m going to have to,” Blackwell said, adding that she also needed money for dental work and to replace a side mirror on her car.

“I don’t want to do a job. I’m about to throw up because I know they didn’t refund me.”

Some questioned whether the video was real, or just an elaborate ploy by Blackwell to get people to subscribe to her OnlyFans account.

The TikTokker sparked a similar social media storm when she claimed she lived with Diplo.

The music producer eventually released a statement on the issue, saying: “OK so I rent one of my properties to Quenlin.

He added: “Her social media is sarcastic and chaotic and I can see you can get a twisted idea but there is nothing but a friendship between us.”
