This is like something from the Hangover, except it doesn’t sound like it ended so well.

Rather than Las Vegas, six guys were on a stag do in Manchester before one of the party was due to be married the following day.

But what started with a night on the town before the big day, ended up with a high speed police chase across the city and a night in the cells.

The Manchester Evening News says the group reportedly sped away from police in a convoy of five high-powered vehicles, which included a Lamborghini Gallardo, two Audi R8s and two AMG Mercedes, as officers came to reports of a disturbance in the city centre.

Police chased the fleet of supercars through the city towards Oldham, but the chase came to a halt in Failsworth, where one of the Audis allegedly rammed a police vehicle. Epic Failsworth.

Six men were arrested and three vehicles recovered following the incident.

The newspaper report that a 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault, dangerous driving, and driving while under the influence of drink and/or drugs.

Another man aged 24 was arrested on suspicion of assault, possession of cannabis and of driving while under the influence of drink and/or drugs.

Police detained three men, aged 20,26 and 27 on suspicion of assault and a 23-year-old on suspicion of possession of cannabis and cocaine.

We can only image the phone call made to the poor bride this morning.
