He shared the video on OnlyFans and WhatsApp without his then-girlfriend’s permission
Reality TV star Stephen Bear has been found guilty of disclosing private sexual photographs and films over a sex video of him and ex-girlfriend Georgia Harrison that was shared on OnlyFans.
The former Ex on the Beach star and Harrison, 27, were captured having sex on CCTV cameras in Bear’s garden on August 2, 2020, Chelmsford Crown Court heard.
He then allegedly shared the footage on OnlyFans.
Harrison, who has appeared on The Only Way Is Essex and Love Island, said she did not know they were being recorded at the time.
She said that when Bear showed her the footage she told him “never to send” it to anyone and “made it plain how upset she would be if he did”, said prosecutor Jacqueline Carey KC.
Bear had denied all charges, but on Tuesday (December 13) a jury found him guilty by unanimous verdicts of two counts of disclosing private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress. He was found guilty by a majority verdict of 10 jurors to two of voyeurism, the MailOnline reports.
Earlier this year, Bear was charged in connection to revenge porn allegations that saw him arrested back in January.
Following the investigation into the disclosure of intimate photographs without consent, the 31-year-old reality star was charged with spreading private, sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress and harassment without violence – what is colloquially referred to as ‘revenge porn’.
He had also been charged with voyeurism, which – stemming from the enjoyment of watching people naked without their knowledge – pertains more directly towards non-consensual acts such as upskirting.
Despite dismissing the allegations as “so silly” at the time of his arrest, his ex-girlfriend maintained that he had released a sex tape of her online and that it later went on to be shared on WhatsApp.
