‘I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form’
Elon Musk‘s child has asked to change their name and gender as they attempt to sever all ties with their father.
Musk’s daughter, who recently turned 18, identifies as a trans woman and had filed a request to change her name in accordance with her new gender at the Los Angeles County superior court, Santa Monica back in April.
As per the court petition observed by Reuters, she stated: “I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form” – effectively looking to disown the billionaire from Friday when her official hearing is set to begin.
Formerly known as Xavier Alexander Musk, she is the daughter of the business tycoon and his first wife, Justine Wilson. The couple separated in 2008 and now apparently wishes to take her mother’s maiden name as part of her new identity, with TMZ reporting that she intends to change her name to Vivian Jenna Wilson.
While no clear confirmation as to what may have caused the rift between the two, Musk has previously taken aim at aspects of transgender culture. Back in 2020, he simply tweeted the phrase “Pronouns suck”.

However, later that year he also went on to insist, “I absolutely support trans, but all these pronouns are an esthetic nightmare”, as well as pointing out that Tesla had scored 100/100 in terms of LGBTQ equality.
