Brewery trades beer for water to help flooding victims

A brewery plant in America has taken a break from beer production to fill its cans with emergency drinking water after floods hit parts of Texas and Oklahoma.

Anheuser-Busch, which brews Budweiser, Michelob Ultra and various other beers for the US market, did what many of us have pledged to do on a night out and swapped beer for water.

According to NBC News, the move from Anheuser-Busch’s Georgia plant is something that happens several times each year, as part of the brewery’s partnership with the American Red Cross charity.

It really is a classy move.
