The meal for two will set you back £3.88, which is less than one rush hour journey from zones 3-1 on the London Underground. For that reasonable price, you will receive a packet of Skips to share for the starter and Uncle Ben's steamed rice dressed in sweet and sour sauce for the main course. The sweet? Birds' strawberry trifle.
It's hardly gourmet, granted, but prawn crackers are included as a side dish. For the price, it's not bad.
B&M claim it's the cheapest meal deal ever, and it won't even take up space in your fridge. All of its components can be stored in the cupboard.
It's unlikely to woo a new partner, but if money's tight and you are your partner just want to spend Valentine's together without forking out for an expensive meal, this could be your saviour. You can always throw the packaging away and dress it up as a home cooked meal.
