A lot more women than men think about their ex while they are having sex

Cassie Delaney

Well it looks like hindsight really is 20/20.

A new survey by IllicitEncounters.com has revealed that 59 percent of women regularly fantasise about sex with their ex.

Surprisingly, men rank lower coming (pun intended) in with 48 percent. Both sexes agreed that love was the most crucial ingredient in building a memorable encounter.

If you’re wondering how often women think about sex, the answer is ‘way more than they may like to let on.’

Over the course of one week psychologists at Ohio University carried out survey and recorded the behaviour of students aged 18-25, by using hand-held counters.

The 283 students were asked to record every time they thought about sex, food and sleep every day.

The study revealed that females now think about sex on an average of 18.6 times a day, which is every 51 minutes when allowing for eight hours sleep.

The highest score recorded for a woman was 140 sexual thoughts in a day, which was once every seven minutes.

The results also showed that women thought about food 15.3 times a day, once every 62 minutes, and sleep 13.4 times, every 72 minutes.

Men thought about sex on an average of once every 28 minutes, their stomachs every 38 minutes and sleep every 33 minutes.
