How to look after your mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic

A pandemic is not a normal thing to live through

No matter how many disaster movies we’ve watched, and no matter how times we’ve seen these and thought ‘Oh, I’d be fine in an apocalyptic world’, the truth is that a major change to the world and to our daily lives, such as this, has a profound effect on both our physical and mental health.

Many of us will be experiencing higher levels of stress and anxiety than usual, a natural reaction to the uncertain status of the world around us. But there are ways of helping to look after your mental health during this pandemic.

We spoke to Rosie Weatherly, who works for mental health charity MIND, who offered some useful tips about how you can ensure you mental health remains in good shape during all of this.
