Stop what you’re doing, Tony Hawk is coming back

They are two of the greatest games ever made and now Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 being rebooted for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC

I know what you’re thinking, we’ve been let down by some of the later Tony Hawk games, will this be any good? Well. It’s the first and second games, rebooted in beautiful 4k.

You can play online, pick your favourite skaters like Rodney Mullen, and listen to almost all of the amazing bands like from the classic soundtrack.

All of your favourite levels will be there, in beautifully rendered details. From the UFOs, aliens and ET references of Roswell, to the yellow skies of Marseille, modelled on a real-life skate park located in the French city.

Yes, this series has been tainted by more recent entries like THPS5 and Ride, they were useless. No question.

But this is Tony Hawk’s 1 and 2, two of the best games of the early PlayStation era.

Games which you spent hundreds of hours playing in your filthy room. Games featuring skaters whose names you know better than your own grandmothers.

You, like us, prayed for a Tony Hawk’s remaster to be released one day. Well, your prayers have been answered.
