God of War has been one of the best reviewed games of the year so far.

The Playstation 4 brawler has been received critical acclaim across the board, with a 94 rating on Metacritic. Not only that, but the relationship between burly hero Kratos and his young son Atreus have warmed the hearts of players, and spawned plenty of memes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rClXqZD2Xrs So it is safe to say that people probably will be looking forward to a sequel to this relaunch of the franchise. So here’s the good news: there are five future God of War games being planned by the game’s director Cory Barlog. In an interview with Kotaku, Barlog was asked:
Kotaku: “So how much of the future game plan do you have mapped out in your head?" Barlog: "Five games"
That’s a lot of time to spend with Kratos. Thing is, the new God of War took five years to make – does that mean we’re going to have to wait 25 years to get the full story? Barlog replied to that, saying:
"No. I want to figure out how to make these things faster, man."
Let’s hope we see the games sooner rather than later.
