God of War has been one of the best reviewed games of the year so far.
The Playstation 4 brawler has been received critical acclaim across the board, with a 94 rating on Metacritic. Not only that, but the relationship between burly hero Kratos and his young son Atreus have warmed the hearts of players, and spawned plenty of memes.

So it is safe to say that people probably will be looking forward to a sequel to this relaunch of the franchise. So here’s the good news: there are
five future
God of War games being planned by the game’s director Cory Barlog.
In an interview with Kotaku, Barlog was asked:
Kotaku: “So how much of the future game plan do you have mapped out in your head?"
Barlog: "Five games"
That’s a lot of time to spend with Kratos. Thing is, the new
God of War took five years to make – does that mean we’re going to have to wait 25 years to get the full story?
Barlog replied to that, saying:
"No. I want to figure out how to make these things faster, man."
Let’s hope we see the games sooner rather than later.
