“You’ve heard of Hamlet – what about the Slam-Let?”

We got the stars of the new wrestling comedy Fighting With my Family into JOE to take on each other at WWE 2K19.

Produced by Dwayne Johnson, the movie tells the true-life story of WWE Superstar Paige, who went from her family’s wrestling school in Norwich to the bright lights on Monday Night RAW.

This week, we got writer/director and Oggmonster himself Stephen Merchant to grill stars Florence Pugh, Nick Frost and Jack Lowden.

They revealed what their own wrestling characters would be, what it was like bonding as an on-screen family, and which of them can do the best impression of The Rock.

The official synopsis for the film reads:

Based on a true story, Fighting With My Family follows reformed gangster Ricky (Nick Frost), wife Julia, daughter Paige and son Zak as they make a living wrestling together in tiny venues. When Paige and Zak get the opportunity to try out for WWE, the family grabs a once-in-a-lifetime chance to turn their wildest dreams into a dazzling future. However, brother and sister quickly discover that to become superstars, both their talent and their relationship will be put to the test. Fighting With My Family is a heartwarming and smart comedy that proves everything is worth fighting for when it comes to family.

Fighting WIth My Family is in cinemas now.
