Civilisation 7 is available to pre-order

It may be the most addictive game of all time thanks to the ‘one more turn’ that has led many players to spend days at a time building a civilisation - and trying to avoid Mahatma Ghandi’s infamous nuclear weapon blood lust.

After three decades the game is reaching a level of perfection that other franchises cannot deliver and the latest edition is set to be the best yet according to early reviews.

The official launch date for Civilisation VII is 11 February but you can play it from 6 February by pre-ordering the game here.

Ordering the Sid Meier’s Civilisation VII Founder’s Edition here on CDKeys gets you access to the game early.

It does cost £79 but comes with a host of other freebies including Tecumseh and Shawnee Packs, and Crossroads of the World Collection, with post-launch content featuring two new leaders, four new civilizations, four new wonders and a special cosmetic bonus. 

The Founder’s Edition also features a ‘Right to Rule Collection’ featuring two new leaders, four extra civilisations, four new wonders and a extra bonus content, as well as Deluxe and Founders content packs.

Those who pre-order the standard edition for £42 will be able to play from 11 February.

Civilisation VII adds a few new aspects to one of the best-selling franchises of all time. The game now covers three main ages; Antiquity, Exploration and Modern. Each age allows you to rebuild your civilisation using a faction of your choosing.

The new edition also allows users to recruit science, religious and military leaders from history to help to build an empire, as well as place Wonders of the World in order to unlock bonuses.
