Ruben Neves could be set to face Wolves in next season’s Premier League

Get used to hearing lots about Ruben Neves in the months ahead

For the first time in what feels like about six months, the sun is out. So. What better way to mark this occasion by bringing you a nice, steaming-hot pile of transfer gossip, just in time for summer?

Ruben Neves is at the centre of it, with the Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder being linked with a move away from Molineux. It’s hardly a surprise, to be honest. Having arrived last summer from Porto, the 21-year-old has impressed during his first season in England, playing a key role in Wolves’ return to the Premier League (and scoring a few absolute worldies along the way).

He’s already been linked to several of the Premier League’s top sides during his short career and it seems Liverpool may once again be interested in taking him to Anfield.

The Merseyside club were linked with Neves during his time at Porto and, as flagged up by talkSPORT, journalist Marcus Alves has now suggested Jürgen Klopp is eyeing a summer move.

Wolves are thought to be looking to bring in Benfica’s Brazilian midfielder Anderson Talisca, who has been in impressive form during his second season on loan in Turkey with Besiktas. Should that deal be done, it could pave the way for Neves to join Liverpool.

And while nothing is set in stone just yet, Wolves can expect to receive a tidy profit on the £15m they forked out for the player if a transfer can be agreed.
