Andy Robertson deletes Instagram story with Billy Gilmour after positive COVID test

The Scottish FA announced on Monday that Gilmour had contracted the virus.

Scotland captain Andy Robertson has deleted a video of him playing table tennis with teammate Billy Gilmour who has since tested positive for Covid-19. The MailOnline reports that the Liverpool full back had posted on his Instagram story a video of him unwinding at the team hotel with Gilmour and Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn, with the three enjoying a game of table tennis. However since the news broke of Gilmour's positive test, Robertson has deleted the video from his account. The Scotland team have all tested for the virus and have tested negative, aside from Gilmour. The Chelsea midfielder will now miss his side's must-win clash with Croatia on Tuesday night. In a statement released on Monday morning, the Scotland national side said: "The Scottish FA can confirm that a member of the Scotland National Team playing squad, Billy Gilmour, has tested positive for COVID-19. "Having liaised with Public Health England since the positive test was recorded, Billy will now self-isolate for 10 days and therefore miss tomorrow’s UEFA EURO 2020 Group D match against Croatia at Hampden." https://twitter.com/ScotlandNT/status/1406904877754761220 Losing Billy Gilmour is already a huge blow to Scotland manager Steve Clark, after the 20-year-old put in a man of the match performance against England on his first start for Scotland. If the Scots were to lose any more members of their squad it could be a set back that they would likely be unable to recover from, especially if it were a player of the calibre of Andy Robertson. There may also be questions around whether any England players have contracted the virus from Gilmour as well.
