FIFA’s Journey mode has been fun addition to series.
The single player mode first appeared in FIFA 17, which introduced us to wunderkind Alex Hunter. In the last two games, we’ve seen him go from the streets of London to the Premier League to LA Galaxy, to Atletico Madrid, PSG, or Bayern Munich (depending on who you pick).
Now it has been confirmed that Journey mode will return in FIFA 19 – and it will be the end of Alex’s story.

FIFA 18’s Journey mode ended on a cliff-hanger, with Alex being contacted by a mysterious agent. The new trailer reveals that Alex ends up at Real Madrid – the club he was linked to at the start of last year’s Journey.
Raphael Varane, Dani Carvajal, Dani Ceballos and Theo Hernandez are all seen in the video welcoming Alex to Madrid.
Alex is also wearing the brand new Real third shirt, that was only revealed today.
The Journey mode can be pretty cheesy, but is a lot of fun, and we look forward to take Alex to the Bernabeu.
