Gordon Ramsay tears into Jamie Oliver for comments he made about his family

Chef Wars II: This time it's personal....

It doesn't take much to wind up Gordon Ramsay in fairness, but the fiery Scot seems pretty p****d off with Jamie Oliver over some comments he made about the size of his family. Jamie was being interviewed a few months back when he appeared to reference the fact that he has more children than Gordon as some sort of bizarre one-upmanship. Gordon and his wife Tana suffered a miscarriage last year when she was five months pregnant, so it's not all that surprising that Jamie's comments have upset the couple. Gordon says that he won't speak to Jamie again until they receive an apology, telling the Radio Times.

"Jamie turned round and said, ‘I’ve got five kids, he’s got four kids.’ To judge someone else’s family on the amount of kids you have, that’s.... "Boys will always fight and butt heads but Tana was mortified. I mean really mortified.”

Jamie and Gordon once used to be friends but have shown a nastier side to their relationship in recent years. Ramsay admitted in the interview that he's had a shit year and this can't have helped. Maybe Jamie can make it up to him by cooking him a dinner that he claims he cooked in 30 minutes, but everyone knows it really took seven hours.
