Zac Efron no longer looks anything like Ted Bundy after dying hair platinum blonde

James Dawson

The High School Musical actor has a new trim

Zac Efron debuted a new hair style at the Sundance Film Festival premiere of his upcoming movie, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, and it’s safe to say he no longer looks anything like the notorious serial player Ted Bundy, who he plays in the film.

The 31-year-old has made headlines over the past year for his resemblance to the American murderer on the set of the movie, however with his hair now platinum blonde he looks worlds apart from Bundy.

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile sees acclaimed true crime documentary maker Joe Berlinger travel back into the world of narrative film with a chilling and disturbing thriller telling the story of serial killer Bundy, who was responsible for the murder and rape of at least 30 women.

The film tells the tale of Bundy’s horrific crimes from the perspective of his girlfriend, Liz, played by Lily Collins. John Malkovich also stars in the film, playing the role of Judge Edward Cowart, who oversaw Bundy’s televised trial and sentenced him to death in 1979.

Let’s face it, all things considered, it’s probably better for Efron that he isn’t Bundy’s doppelganger anymore. Here’s how he looked on the night of the premiere…
