You don't need to ask Wayne Rooney twice to belt out a tune.
Footage has emerged of the Manchester United captain crooning to a Robbie Williams ballad with none other than Ed Sheeran.
Rooney was on a night out in New York when he took the the stage alongside the pop star, took hold of the mic and started singing 'Angels’ by the former Take That member.
However, Rooney's performance gets cut short as he stops half way through the chorus and places the mic back in its stand.
He either forgot the lyrics, got stage fright, or perhaps he realised the smartphones had come out and his rendition would soon be uploaded to the internet for all to see.
