Forget superheroes, it’s all about the supervillians now.
The first full-length trailer for the upcoming Suicide Squad film is finally here and it’s given us some insight into what the finished product will look like – including our first real look at Jared Leto’s Joker.
Based on the trailer, it will be a far more light-hearted affair than we’re used to seeing from DC films like Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Hopefully this means they can start competing with the cinematic powerhouse that has emerged from the Marvel Comics stories and give us a studio battle like we’ve never seen before.
With a cast that includes Will Smith, Margot Robbie, and Cara Delevingne alongside the aforementioned Leto, it’d be hard to screw this one up.
We can’t wait.
