Oukhellou’s on-off boyfriend Jake McLean tragically died in the crash
The Only Way Is Essex star Yazmin Oukhellou has been left with “extremely serious” injuries to her arm after a horrific crash which killed her on-off boyfriend Jake McLean.
The 28-year-old is reported to be in an intensive care unit after the crash in Bodrum on Sunday.
McClean, 33, who also dated The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger, is understood to have been driving the car when he lost control and went off a cliff, The Sun reports.
Emergency services rushed to the scene but were sadly unable to save Jake, who tragically died. Oukhellou was taken to hospital where she remains.
Oukhellou relocated to Dubai a year after she and McClean started dating – though they didn’t publicly confirm their relationship until December 2021. The pair later separated and Oukhellou then returned to Essex.
The TOWIE star’s mum is said to be on her way to Turkey to be by her daughter’s side.
Speaking to Mail Online, one source said: “It’s a complete tragedy and a total loss of life. Everyone is in shock and hoping Yazmin makes a full recovery.”
