TOWIE star left with ‘very serious’ injuries after car plunges off cliff in Turkey leaving one dead

Oukhellou's on-off boyfriend Jake McLean tragically died in the crash

The Only Way Is Essex star Yazmin Oukhellou has been left with "extremely serious" injuries to her arm after a horrific crash which killed her on-off boyfriend Jake McLean. The 28-year-old is reported to be in an intensive care unit after the crash in Bodrum on Sunday. McClean, 33, who also dated The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger, is understood to have been driving the car when he lost control and went off a cliff, The Sun reports. Emergency services rushed to the scene but were sadly unable to save Jake, who tragically died. Oukhellou was taken to hospital where she remains. One TOWIE case member told The Sun: "Nobody is quite sure what they were doing out there. We thought they’d split up. But apparently he was involved in some sort of business deal. But whatever’s gone on, this is just heart-breaking. We hope to get a proper update on how she is soon. But  it sounds very, very serious — perhaps life-changing."
