From the very first moment that we meet Alfie Solomons in Peaky Blinders, we don't know if he's going to hug Tommy Shelby or shoot him right between the eyes. London's most famous gangster, distiller baker is renowned for being violent, unpredictable and incredibly calculating, but we never get a real sense of his backstory. We do know that he's a master negotiator that's capable of confusing people with his language and violent outbreaks of cursing.
