The trailer for the Game of Thrones season finale is absolutely perfect

Paul Moore

Prepare for the longest ever Game of Thrones episode.

If you haven’t seen the most recent Game of Thrones episode then consider this to be your spoiler alert.

The Great War has begun and the Night King has drawn first blood.

Daenerys’ dragon Viserion is now terrifying beast for the army of the dead and in simple terms, that ice dragon is basically the equivalent of the White Walkers having a nuclear bomb.

After this game changing development, Jon Snow’s plan to bring a wight to Cersei at King’s Landing has to work.

With so much hatred, suspicion, anger, vengeance and deceit bubbling, can the Seven Kingdoms unite to take on the army of the dead? This meeting will be absolutely pivotal.

Elsewhere, Sansa has decided to remain at Winterfell but will she fall prey to Littlefinger’s schemes and plots? What about her raltionship with Arya? Will House Stark be divided by the best schemer in Westeros?

In the trailer for the final  episode, we finally see Cersei, Jaime, Jon Snow, Tyrion, Gendry, Ser Jorah, Theon, Ser Davos and many more meet for the very first time.

Step into the Dragonpit.

Keep reading on though because we’re going to break down the footage for you frame-by-frame.

The siege is lifted

It appears that Greyworm and the Unsullied are no longer under siege at Casterly Rock. A sign of good faith from House Lannister?

We do not Sow

Those ships belong to House Greyjoy. Will Yara’s freedom be part of the delicate negotiations that are about to take place?

Tyrion is coming home

As we’ve seen this season, Tyrion and Daenerys haven’t always seen eye-to-eye. Will Tyrion’s loyalty be swayed by the love he has for his brother Jaime?

The full force of House Targeryn

Jaime and Bronn look on as they see the full might of the Dothraki and Unsullied forces.

The Lady of Winterfell

It looks like Sansa has a lot on her mind. Perhaps she has a tough decision to make?

Ours is the Fury

An educated guess?  That’s probably Gendry.

Enter the Dragonpit

Historically, this was where the Targaryen dragons were kept in King’s Landing. Can lifelong enemies become temporary allies?

The key players

There’s one person that’s missing here…Daenerys. Read into that what you will.

A Lannister reunion

Cersei has made no secret of her hatred towards Tyrion. With the fate of Westeros at stake, can cool heads prevail or will we see some fire and blood?
