The Inbetweeners stars reunite for new BBC show

Paul Moore

Fans of The Inbetweeners will be tuned in.

Over the course of three seasons , we’ve heard some pretty remarkable lies from Jay Cartwright in The Inbetweeners.

Who can forget those endless orgies at Caravan Club, that thine he took a pedalo to Africa or the fact that his girlfriend broke up with him, in his own words, because she wouldn’t have a threeway “with this top lesser model and my cock was too big for her!”.

Well, he may have told us a fair few porky pies, but it appears that Jay (James Buckley) will have drugs, sex and cash on tap in his new show, White Gold.

The new BBC Two comedy revolves around a double-glazing sales team who will happily break the rules if it guarantees a sale. This double-glazing showroom in Essex in the 80s is led by charismatic Vincent Swan alongside his unscrupulous sales team, Brian Fitzpatrick and Martin Lavender.

Smart, handsome and cocksure, Vincent will happily break the rules if it guarantees a sale. It’s a story of dodgy shenanigans, scams and petty rivalries – alongside free-flowing drugs, cash and sex.

If you’re a fan of The Inbetweeners, you’ll be pleased to know that Damon Beesley is also on board with this one and he has described it as the “Wolf of Wall Street in Essex”.

This new series will air on BBC 2 and will run for six episodes.

It starts on Wednesday May 24 at 10pm and will be available to catch up on iPlaye

Starring Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl), Joe Thomas (Simon – The Inbetweeners) & James Buckley (Jay- The Inbetweeners) all star.

Take a look.
