The fate of a Peaky Blinders character after that epic ending appears to be confirmed

The next episode can't come quickly enough.

As the build up to the Season 4 premiere gathered pace, all the talk was about how Steven Knight's superb show was returning to its dark, dangerous and violent roots. Christ, there has never been a truer word spoken! After that gripping opening episode, we're eagerly awaiting the next episode as we finally saw the true strength of the Sicilian Mafia - led by Adrien Brody's new character,  Luca Changretta. Consider this to be your spoiler alert. As the ending approached, John Shelby and Michael Gray were ambushed by the mob. While John was absolutely riddled with bullets in a hail of gunfire, it's very likely that Polly's son has managed to survive. While nothing official has been revealed, it appears that previous footage has confirmed Michael's fate. As seen in the Season 4 trailer, there's a scene where Tommy and the rest of the Shelbys are finally in the same room - we presume it's John's wake.
