Fresh from his
scathing criticism of a Kensington resident who said that she would move out of her flat if the Grenfell residents were allowed to move in to this area for free, Stormzy was back to his day job as he delivered a superb set at Glastonbury.
Since his breakthrough with the stunning album Gang Signs & Prayer, Stormzy hasn't been shy about offering his opinion about some of the most important issues in British society.
For example, his speech about
mental health was incredibly articulate and he has even toyed with the idea of
running for prime Minister (tongue firmly in cheek though)
Given the fact that Stormzy is from Croydon, the Grenfell Tower fire is an issue that he cares passionate about.
In fact, he was one of the many musicians who worked on the charity single to raise money for those that were affected by the horrific events.
During his performance this evening, Stormzy reflected on the lives of those that were lost in that tragedy.

Regarding his endorsement of Jeremy Corbyn, the rapper has always been a supporter of the Labour leader.
During an interview with
The Guardian, he had this to say about Corbyn: "My man, Jeremy! Young Jeremy, my guy. I dig what he says. I saw some sick picture of him from back in the day when he was campaigning about anti-apartheid and I thought: yeah, I like your energy... I feel like he gets what the ethnic minorities are going through and the homeless and the working class..."
See, they're good mates.
Well, it appears that the feeling is mutual at Glastonbury because he led the crowd in this singalong.

Don't worry though, the grime artist wasn't totally sidetracked by politics this evening because he also did his very best to create the biggest mosh-pit in Glastonbury history.
