You couldn’t beat soap viewers for being on the ball
Weatherfield can’t blow its nose the wrong way without fans picking up on it, so it was inevitable that they’d spot the blunder in Wednesday night’s episode of Coronation Street.
We saw Liz McDonald at the Rosamund Street Medical Centre where she gave out to Moira Pollock for looking up Carla Connor’s age on the computer system age after Carla’s affair with best friend Michelle’s son Ali was revealed.
While Liz was laying into Moira, a number of eagle-eyed viewers watching at home noticed that whoever had dressed the Corrie set had made a fairly obvious error – the surgery phone wasn’t plugged in to anything.

Then again the surgery is fictional, so what phone calls they would receive, I don’t know.
