One person said he looks like a dinner lady – and now we can’t unsee it

Post Malone has been praised for posing in a tartan dress and accompanying shirt for billboard magazine.

Styled by Catherine Hahn, who has also worked with the likes of Lil Nas, the rapper is pictured in a range of outfits, including fur coats, vibrant shorts, and loose-fitting shirts.

In his cover interview with Lyndsay Havens, the 26-year-old talked about his musical journey and rediscovering his creative spark but it was the photos that really captured attention.

Post is seen wearing a custom shirt and dress from stylist and designer Catherine Hahn, a Tom Ford tie, Ralph Lauren socks, Dr. Martens shoes, and Balenciaga earrings.

“Post looks good,” wrote one fan on Twitter.

On Instagram, beneath Billboard’s Post, another fan wrote: “I like rebellion. A hip-hop rapper rocking a girl school uniform. There’s hope.”

“The one man that looks good in anything,” added a third.

While the Instagram comments are flooded with heart-eye emojis and a sprinkle of “SlAYYY”, not everyone was pleased with the gender-bent clothing choices.

One person commented: “They got you in dresses too now huh?”

Another compared him to a dinner lady.

The star also dished about his long-term plans, stating he wants a sustainable career, hence his many collaborations with Crocs, his own clothing line Trading Post, and his own brand of Rose wine.

“No one knows for sure like, ‘Oh, I’m going to be good [financially],'” Post said.

“But I like to hope that with what I have done so far, my family is good, everybody’s good for generations to come — with frugal spending and getting rid of some of the bulls–t that I don’t need.”
