People are already addicted to the new murder mystery on Netflix

Finished Mindhunter? This will do very nicely.

Hands up if you’ve binge-watched so many crime documentaries, serial killer dramas and murder mysteries that you’re genuinely worried that your partner might kill you? Let’s face it, after watching so many shows, they probably know how to do it and more importantly, get away with!

Naaa, we know that you’re all in happy and loving relationships and this is personified in your TV selections. Riiiiight….

If you want to keep peace and harmony in your house, a good TV show to watch together is always helpful and as we reported before everywhere else, The Sinner is now on Netflix and it’s earning some terrific reviews.

In the TV mini-series, Jessica Biel plays a young mother who, when overcome by an inexplicable fit of rage, commits a startling act of violence.

The event launches an inverted and utterly surprising crime thriller whose driving force is not the “who” or the “what” — but the “why” — as an investigator (Bill Pullman) finds himself obsessed with uncovering the woman’s buried motive. Together they travel a harrowing journey into the depths of her psyche and the violent secrets hidden in her past.

In their review, TV Fanatic said that: “What The Sinner does well is connect the dots. While I believe the attempt was to be a psychological thriller, instead it’s a good old detective story. And Ambrose is a good detective.”

If you’re looking for something that’s in the murder mystery genre but with a fresh twist, The Sinner could be just the thing for you.

In fact, plenty of people have argued that its very first episode is right up there with some of the best ones in the genre.

If you’re done with Mindhunter, this could be your next addiction.
