‘Bin all the presents you’ve got because Jill’s won’
Owen Warner is over the moon having been gifted an “unreal” Christmas present from his I’m A Celeb… mate – and Queen of the Jungle – Jill Scott.
The Hollyoaks actor is a football fanatic and supports Leicester City FC, which made it pretty easy for former Lioness Jill to know what to get the 23-year-old.
And the 35-year-old didn’t disappoint.
Owen was gifted a signed England shirt, with Leicester midfielder James Maddison’s name on the back.
Maddison played in the England team at the Qatar World Cup earlier this month.
Owen said Jill “has smashed it” in an Instagram story where he showed off his present to his 537,000 followers.
“Look at that. How unreal is that? Jill has smashed it,” he told his followers.
Owen, who was the runner-up in I’m A Celeb ahead of Matt Hancock, then turned the camera to selfie-mode and called out to his mum, saying: “I just came to say bin all the presents you’ve got because Jill’s won.
“You might as well just bin it,” he concluded.
Writing on top of the video, Owen added: “@JillScitjs8 won Christmas, can’t believe she bagged this for me”.
Jill re-shared the post tagging in Maddison, who she said “had made someone very happy”.
Despite his popularity with I’m A Celeb viewers, Owen recently admitted he almost quit the show as he felt he had “nothing to offer”.
“I had no agenda, it was a bucket list thing and to meet Ant and Dec. “I expected to be one of the first ones out and I was more than happy with that,” he said during an appearance on Loose Women.
