The documentary features brand new interviews with the likes of Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg, as well as celebrity devotees such as Dan Harmon and Adam F. Goldberg.
It also covers a number of fan events, including the recent Secret Cinema showings of the original movie in London, where attendees were asked to dress up in 1950s garb for the special themed nights.
Fittingly, the film about the film will be released in a number of select cinemas on 'Future Day', or October 21, 2015 - the date on which Marty McFly and Doc Brown travel to the future in BTTF2.
