New Back to the Future documentary to be released on ‘Future Day’ (Trailer)

A new documentary looking at the enduring legacy and appeal of Back to the Future is to be released in October.

Back in Time looks at the genesis, making and impact of the BTTF movies, and how they have touched the lives of obsessional fans around the world. The documentary features brand new interviews with the likes of Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg, as well as celebrity devotees such as Dan Harmon and Adam F. Goldberg. It also covers a number of fan events, including the recent Secret Cinema showings of the original movie in London, where attendees were asked to dress up in 1950s garb for the special themed nights. Fittingly, the film about the film will be released in a number of select cinemas on 'Future Day', or October 21, 2015 - the date on which Marty McFly and Doc Brown travel to the future in BTTF2.
