Netflix’s new show looks like a wonderful mix of Stranger Things and Gone Baby Gone

Given the plethora of shows that are regularly being commissioned by Netflix, there are times when it feels like it's impossible to get through your binge-list. So many TV shows to watch, not enough hours in the day. We feel you! Given the fact that the online streaming giant have recently announced that they plan on spending a further $6 billion on content this year, we're certain that you're going to get value for your subscription over the coming months. From all the recent hits that Netflix has had, Stranger Things has probably been their biggest one because viewers absolutely loved its mix of horror, mystery and the macabre. Well, if you're looking for something that's in the same vein, their new show, Dark, looks like just the thing for you. The show revolves around a search for a missing child that sets four families on a frantic hunt for answers. Their search for the culprit though unearths a small town’s sins and secrets. The ten-part show is being produced by the team that's responsible for the superb Oscar-winning drama The Lives of Others and having seen the trailer, we couldn't help but think that it's a tantalising mix of Gone Baby Gone and Stranger Things. We already love foreign language shows like The Bridge, The Killing and Narcos, but Dark looks like it has the potential be added to this prestigious list. It arrives this winter on Netflix.
