Otis Milburn and co. are returning to the screens for one last time

Netflix have dropped the trailer for the final series of Sex Education, which will be available to watch from September 21.

The fourth and final series will arrive on our screens in just over two months time as Otis Milburn and the rest of the gang move onto the next stage of their lives.

Confirming the news, Netflix tweeted: “It’s time to finish. The final season, coming September 21.”

Tandum, the streaming service’s fan site, confirmed that the final series would air in 2023 after the third instalment of the popular show came to an end two years before.

As Otis and his friend Eric begin to take on a new world at Cavendish Sixth Form College. After the success of his sex education clinic at Moordale, Otis is naturally feeling apprehensive about how his new hobby will go down with a new set of friends.

In a teaser of the new series, he can be seen saying: “I spend a lot of time thinking about sex.

“I live and breathe sex all day, every day.

“Thinking about sex comes very naturally, because I learned everything I know about sex from my mum.”

A synopsis of the upcoming series adds: “Following the closure of Moordale Secondary, the students are navigating new territory at the high-tech and progressive Cavendish Sixth Form College.

“It’s every health and wellness nut’s dream with yoga on the lawn, a strong sustainability vibe and even a rival sex therapist on campus.

“This rivalry isn’t the only thing bothering Otis (Asa Butterfield), as he’s also juggling a long-distance relationship with Maeve (Emma Mackey).

“She’s living her dream at the prestigious Wallace University in the US and being taught by cult author Thomas Molloy, played by Levy.”
