It's been over a week since beloved actor Matthew Perry died at the age of 54.
The world was shocked to hear that Perry, best known for playing the iconic character Chandler Bing in Friends, was found dead at his Los Angeles home on 28 October.
Perry's family, friends, past co-stars, and adoring fans have been paying tribute to him since the news broke.
A private funeral for Perry took place at the Forest Lawn cemetery in the Hollywood Hills on Friday.
The news of Perry's death was first confirmed by NBC - the American television network which aired Friends.
"We are incredibly saddened by the too soon passing of Matthew Perry
He brought so much joy to hundreds of millions of people around the world with his pitch-perfect comedic timing and wry wit.
His legacy will live on through countless generations"
His Friends co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow released a heartbreaking tribute to Perry in the days that followed.
"We were more than just cast mates
We are a family
There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.
In time we will say more, as and when we are able.
For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world"
Over the weekend, American channel 9News have been reporting that "There could be a late honour for the man who made the role of Chandler Bing so well-known and loved - a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame."
According to TMZ, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce have said they are keen to honour Perry with a star and posthumous ceremony.
However, in Perry's absence, the final decision is up to his family to decide if and when that would happen.
A family member would have to accept the star on his behalf.
Matthew Perry's Friends co-stars Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston already have stars on the Walk of Fame at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street.
TMZ are reporting that the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce want to put Matthew's potential star in the same area.
