Love Island might be coming back sooner than expected

Big news for Love Island fans.

Big news for Love Island fans.

Game of Thrones might have plenty of iconic quotes, but has any character in Westeros ever said : ““It’s like when you’re carrying on your normal business and then you just, you either see loads of dicks around or it’s just a boy you fancy and you just blueghhleghhgglgh fall in it, yeah that’s dick sand. It’s pretty scary.”

Yep, we’ve never heard Daenerys say that before.

Winter is here and although the nights are getting shorter, there’s still a very real possibility that love is in the air because a recent Love Island contestant has teased us with the news that a spin-off series is in the works.

Since her departure from the villa, Chloe Crowhurst  has been doing a few TV pieces for This Morning and the Love Island correspondent has revealed a pretty interesting piece of information for fans of the show.

While hosting a recent quiz night, she said that “there might be something with me coming back as their reporter for Winter Love Island. I’d love to be a presenter on the Winter Love Island series as well – which might work out… Let’s see.”

Winter Love Island?!?! All they have to do is replace the sand with snow, sea with a hot tub and the sex with erm… sex in a colder climate.

Before audiences get overly excited, ITV2 told Cosmopolitan UK that Love Island won’t be back until 2018. Note the fact that they mentioned Love Island, not ‘Winter’ Love Island.

In fact, given the popularity of the show, it appears that producers are keen to capitalise on the public’s demand for the show.

Only recently, an inside source told the Daily Star that: “‘The public have shown they can’t get enough of Love Island and this year has been the show’s ‘water-cooler moment’. ITV is really keen to exploit the massive momentum it’s got at the minute and bosses are thinking really big all the time.’

We shall see.
