Love Island couple get a very embarrassing question wrong on live TV

Paul Moore

They were jokingly called idiots on Good Morning Britain.

There are endless amounts of  TV shows that test the intelligence of their participants. Over the years, we’ve seen the likes of Countdown, Mastermind and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? test the nation’s brainpower, but Love Island was focused on something completely different, shagging.

There’s no denying that the country absolutely fell in love with the TV show over the summer, but Kem and Amber had a little bit of a brain fart on Good Morning Britain.

During a segment on the show, the Love Island pair took on The Chase’s dreaded ‘The Vixen’ in a battle of wits.

The acting quizmaster, Richard Madeley, asked Kem and Amber which group of Islands were used for the filming of Love Island.

They had three options, “was it the Canaries, the Balearics or the Shetlands?” Madeley asked. An absolute banker of a question, or so you would think.

“I thought we filmed the show in Majorca,” Kem told his girlfriend after giving her a look of confusion.

Amber then stated her belief that the Balearics are a group of Greek islands. Ultimately, they settled on the Canaries as their final answer.

As fans of the show will know, the correct answer is the Balearic Island. I

No worries, it’s not like you were actually there guys?

“You idiots, how did you not know that? I thought that would have been an easy question for you. I can’t believe you didn’t know that,” Madeley said in utter disbelief as the rest of the studio laughed.

“We are going to have to get you a map of the world. I’m going to show you where exactly you live. You live in England. You know the name of England, don’t you?” he continued.

In their defence, Kem and Amber were asked a total of four questions and got the other three right.

Here’s the clip below.
