You now can watch The LEGO Movie for free on YouTube – but only for today

Everything is awesome!

The LEGO Movie is great.

Everyone expected it to just be a feature-length advertisement for the Danish building blocks. But actually, it turned out to be a riotously funny film, that also had a lot to say about creativity and expressing yourself.

Then again, any movie that has a cast that includes Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie, Charlie Day, Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman should be pretty good, right?

Not only that, it was directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the comedy genius duo behind the 21 Jump Street movies.

Obviously, are we are sure you are aware,  The LEGO Movie was a massive hit, and there is now a sequel is coming (imaginatively titled The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part).

To promote the follow-up, Warner Bros have put the whole first film on YouTube to watch, absolutely free.

There is a catch though – the film will only be available for one day. According to The Verge, it will be removed at 12AM Pacific Time on November 24th (that’s 8am UK time).

It is actually a pretty clever marketing stunt – the full video, complete with Chris Pratt intro, is being pushed as a pre-roll advert, surprising people with the entire movie after the trailer for the sequel.

But you don’t have to wait to stumble across it here it the entire The LEGO Movie for your enjoyment:
