Kim Kardashian’s Met Gala dress leaves fans fearing for her health

'The beauty standards her family set get higher and more unattainable every year'

Last night, one of the biggest fashion events of the year took place as some of the most famous faces took part in their annual competition to see who can wear the weirdest clothes.

Yes, it was the Met Gala.

Celebrities from across the worlds of television, music and film had to be imaginative with looks that fitted the theme of The Garden of Time.

One of the most eye-catching looks from this year's event was that of Kim Kardashian - but many were left worried by her fashion choice.

The reality star wore a silver John Galliano corset-style dress, which was  embellished with leaves to tie into the theme, with the dress also featuring a metal skirt and a lace train.

However, it was the corset feature that had people concerned that that the dress was dangerously tight around her waist.

Reacting to the look on social media, one person wrote: "Trying too much babe. Over tightened corset not necessary."

Another said: "Outfit looks good but are you breathing well in it? Blink if you need oxygen therapy."

A third commented: "You got a rib removed?!? Where is your waist!!??!!"

Meanwhile, someone else joked that her "internal organs are shouting for help."

"Kim Kardashian can't breathe in that dress," a fifth penned.

Another user said: "She genuinely looked uncomfortable and dazed like she was struggling to breathe. The beauty standards her family is known to set get higher and more unattainable every year."

It's not the first time Kardashian has made headlines for a Met Gala look. Back in 2022, she wore Marilyne Monroe's famous 'Happy Birthday Mr President' dress.

This prompted criticism for some who were unhappy that she chose to wear the one-of-a-kind dress and the damage that Kardashian had done to it.
