Katherine Ryan breaks silence on the father of her daughter saying he ‘never paid anything’

She opened up about her eldest child's dad

Ryan, 42, has three children with her husband Bobby Kootstra, and now has opened up about the dad of her eldest child.

She has revealed that he still has contact with his daughter Violet, but claimed he isn't that involved in her daughter's life.

“I've been careful never to s**g him off just because I don't think it's the right thing to do”, Katherine said on the Juicy Scoop with Heather McDonald podcast.

“And I really protected him while my daughter was young. I would never say anything bad about him”, she added.

“But now she's 16, she can see for herself that unfortunately, he's not a bad person, but he's never made any sacrifices, never paid anything for her, just kind of texts her, which I think is breadcrumbing.”

“Like, 'Hey, love you. How are you?' Which is better than no contact. But he hasn't been the type of dad that you would want for your daughter”, the comedian went on.

Katherine revealed that she decided to undergo a facelift procedure after welcoming her four children, adding that she felt like she needed to do something for herself.

“The surgery was a facelift. Yes, a full facelift – a little bit of fat transfer to my cheekbone area, and a small bleph[aroplasty]”, she said speaking on her podcast.

In March of last year, she revealed she was diagnosed with cancer, while months later she also spoke about a "less talked about" pregnancy struggle.
