James Buckley shares reunion picture teasing new Inbetweeners series

It's got fans very excited.

James Buckley - AKA Jay from The Inbetweeners - shared a picture to social media last night that either made every fan's dream come true or was a massive, massive troll. Probably the latter. After meeting up with his co-stars Simon Bird, Joe Thomas and Blake Harrison from the classic Channel 4 show, he captioned a picture of them together: "Inbetweeners series 4 pre production meal." The reunion comes days after the 10th anniversary of the show's first episode. https://twitter.com/James_Buckley/status/993228930428669953 Tens of thousands of people have favourited and retweeted the post, with fans asking the actor if what he was saying was true or just a wind-up. Though, sadly, he has yet to respond. The good news, however, is that in a previous interview, Joe Thomas (Simon) was optimistic about a potential reunion - although it would likely be a bit different than the show's original incarnation. He told The Sun: "I think that we are ­definitely too old now to do anything that is set in a sixth form. If it’s the case that you want to do a show about some sixth formers then obviously we can’t be involved in that, with the best will in the world. But we could do the ­originals ten years down the line, married with kids." He added: "I mean, we can do that now. I would jump at any chance to work with those guys again — in any context, really."
