ITV dramatically pulls Lorraine off air as Boris Johnson set to resign ‘imminently’
Earlier in the show, a psychic pig had predicted that Johnson would leave
Morning show host Lorraine Kelly was taken off air mid-interview as news of Boris Johnson's resignation as Prime Minister spread.
Kelly, 62, had only just begun conducting an interview with JLS star Aston Merrygold when the news broke that Johnson would be resigning as PM imminently - forcing ITV to cut to live coverage of the event.
Earlier in Kelly's programme, a psychic pig had predicted that Johnson would soon be leaving Downing Street.
Today's news comes as more than 50 members of the Conservative cabinet handed in their resignation, increasing the pressure on the PM to go.
